Crosby Class D Stereo Power Amplifier
by M2Tech
M2Tech proof that good things can come in small packages.
When you want the quality, but don't have the space. The Rockstar series from M2Tech will fit the bill.
The Crosby is a versatile, high-efficiency Class-D stereo power amplifier that is
the perfect complement to the Tosh preamp, both in form and in sound.
Its power is sufficient to effectively and cleanly drive most speakers, while its power delivery capacity can be significantly increased by configuring it in Bridge mode.
In this case, the Crosby becomes a powerful mono amplifier; two Crosby's configured in a bridge can drive virtually
any loudspeaker, be it a dynamic driver array or an electrostatic panel.
Naturally, the Crosby can be connected to any preamplifier, not just the Tosh: for example, it is perfectly at ease connected to the Young MkIV, if the latter is used in the dual function of D/A converter and preamplifier.
It features both single-ended and balanced inputs, plus it features a trigger input to allow it to be turned on automatically by the preamp.
Thanks to its class-D design, it is virtually impossible to destroy, all overload situations are indicated on the front panel.
