Our Shipping and Returns Policy


Shipping is provided within the UK (excluding Ireland). All products are shipped using UPS next day delivery and will be dispatched within 1-2 working days.

Should you require shipping outside of the UK, please contact us before making a purchase.


First, it is important to understand that we want you to become a long-term customer of Summer House Sounds and Audio Pinnacle Ltd. This means ensuring that we provide the finest equipment, the best service and the most competitive pricing. We appreciate that sometimes, you will want to return equipment to us. Below, you will find our returns policy which we think is fair and equitable for us both. Due to the nature of the products, there do have to be some terms and conditions that need to be explained and understood. Please take the time to read and understand them before you place any order. We welcome any questions, so do not hesitate to contact us if there is anything you do not understand.

Our returns policy lasts 14 days. This time commences from the day we ship the item to you. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return and refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging, unopened with all sealing tapes still in place. Non-returnable items include but not exclusively: Built to Order, All Moving Coil and Moving Magnet Cartridges, Special Order, Non-Stock items, Sale Items, Headphones or Earphones, Used Items, or ex demonstration items purchased.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase and a valid returns number. Please contact us directly for this either by phone or email. Please do not arrange to ship your product back to us until we have agreed this with you. We will happily arrange collection on your behalf. This will be charged at cost. This option will almost certainly be cheaper than you are able to arrange as an individual. Where you do make your own arrangements, all items must be returned fully insured against all loss and damage.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable). For instance, any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for any reasons. 

Refunds cannot be provided for any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery.

Refunds (if applicable) 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund with appropriate reasoning. 

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. This will normally be processed by us no more than 5 working days following receipt and acceptance of the returned product(s). 

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. 

If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. If you have arranged your own shipping, no refund will be given for this cost. When an item cannot be re-sold by us as new and unopened, unused, there will be a restocking charge of up to 25%, which would be deducted from your credit. You will be contacted if this charge will be required.

Warranty Returns

In the rare case that you have a warranty issue with any equipment, please contact us before shipping the item either to us or to the manufacturer.


This document does not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under UK law (such as rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 or the Consumer Rights Act 2015).
