Inspired by the adventurous Galician coast, these speakers combine the spirit of adventure with grounding presence of our ethos. The Finisterres are designed with both audio quality and aesthetics as the highest parameters.

High-end, mid-sized floor-standing speakers featuring an 8" bass driver for deep lows, and a beryllium tweeter for clear highs. Hand crafted with solid birch cases, French walnut fronts, and supported by a floating damped base. These speakers offer a superior sound and a timeless design.

‘The Finisterre’ a mid-size floor standing ported two-way passive speaker. The aim of this product was to build a floor-standing speaker that aesthetically harmonises with the ‘considered home’. The Finisterre’s also have a ‘Submariner-effect’ - appealing aesthetically to both men and women, with a particular hope to engage more women into high-end audio!

The Finisterres are designed with both audio quality and aesthetics as the highest parameters. Natural curves and solid woods define the aesthetics of Saltwood Sounds, and, acoustically, the clarity and power is achieved by 8” Purifi drivers which have an extended linear stroke range to enthral any audience.

Inherent to this design, The Finisterres have a moderate sensitivity, but can generate bass response down to very low frequency levels. The speakers thus require ample driving by suitably powerful amplifiers. The woofer is matched by a 1⅛ inch SB Acoustics Sartori beryllium tweeter which excels detail and eschews ringing. 

The cabinets are made from highest-grade Baltic Birch, and matched solid French walnut front baffles, which can also be customised with other woods.
